Theo Tsihlis | Executive Director

Theo joined BurnVoir 2002.

Theo began his career as a corporate and commercial lawyer with Ashurst before moving to Macquarie Bank as
Associate Director of the Treasury, Commodities and Equities Groups.

Prior to joining BurnVoir, Theo was Director and Co-Head of Project Advisory for Dresdner Bank Australia and,
previously, Vice President of Project Advisory & Finance at Bankers Trust.

Theo has over 30 years of investment banking, mergers & acquisitions and commercial experience, executing on complex national, international and interjurisdictional transactions across the energy, resources and
infrastructure space.

Theo’s experience extends to acquisitions, divestments, privatisations, corporatisations and project and
business restructuring. In addition, Theo has extensive experience in debt financings including both bank and
non-bank project financings, project bonds issuances, convertible note offerings, working capital facilities,
hedging facilities, offtaker funding, and other senior and mezzanine funding.

As Executive Director at BurnVoir, Theo has assisted over 200 companies ranging in size and complexity from
Pre-IPO startups to MicroCap and Mid-Cap ASX listed stocks.

Through BurnVoir, Theo has advised both private organisations and is a trusted advisor to both State and
Federal governments and sits on a numerous State Government panels.

Theo has developed an extensive network of financiers and transaction support providers (lawyers, technical
consultants, etc).

Theo is also fluent in Greek and holds a Bachelor of Laws & Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New
South Wales and a Master of Laws from Sydney University.

Ariel Walters | Executive Director

Ariel joined BurnVoir 2021.

Ariel began his career at Commonwealth Bank of Australia across Risk Management and Institutional Banking in Perth where he was responsible for a portfolio of institutional and corporate finance clients, predominantly focused on natural resources and mining services.

Ariel joined MUFG Bank, Ltd (formerly Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi) in May 2012, where he was appointed Director/Executive Director – Resources, Utilities, Infrastructure and Transport, Global Corporate and Investment Banking (GCIB) – Perth Branch.  Ariel took on the leadership of the Bank’s Global Corporate & Investment Banking business in Perth and lead industry specialist for Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas in Oceania.

Ariel holds a Masters of Applied Finance, majoring in Advisory & Corporate Finance and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Banking and Finance from Curtin University of Technology.

Philipp M-O Kin | Associate Director

Philipp joined BurnVoir in 2017.

Philipp began his career at Royal Dutch Shell (Australia) in their Graduate program working in the Economics
and Business Planning Division before progressing through various roles to the position of Lead Economist for
the Browse LNG Project.

Post leaving Shell, Philipp joined the Royal Bank of Scotland to head the Oil and Gas Equity Research team
where he covered the Large to Mid-Cap Australian Energy stocks. Post RBS, Philipp filled similar roles with
other prominent financial advisory houses producing published research on various companies with projects in
multiple jurisdictions.

Prior to joining BurnVoir Philipp’s previous roles included Senior Investment Relations Adviser for Oil Search
Limited and Director of Corporate Finance at Baillieu Holst.

Philipp has extensive experience in the Oil & Gas / Energy sector and has been involved in a broad range of
market transactions including debt advisory, equity capital markets, mergers & acquisitions and private equity.
In addition to the Oil & Gas / Energy sector, Philipp also specialises in Potash.

Philipp is fluent in Polish and holds a Bachelor of Laws & Bachelor of Business from the University of Notre
Dame and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance from Kaplan Professional.

Andrew Bray | Manager

Andrew joined BurnVoir in 2018.

Prior to joining BurnVoir Andrew worked in technical, corporate and financial roles across a broad range of
hard-rock and soft-rock commodities.

Andrew began his career as a geophysical consultant working with global mining companies deploying
borehole radar to image hard-rock orebodies in 3 dimensions ahead of development and mining. He
subsequently undertook research focusing on the development of an integrated tectonostratigraphic model for
the Sydney Basin with the aid of reprocessed seismic datasets.

Since 2012, Andrew has worked primarily as an in-house Acquisitions and Operations Analyst for various ASX-listed
mining companies where he was involved in multiple international transactions and supported mining
projects through construction, commissioning and operation. Most recently, Andrew was the General Manager
for an ASX-listed company with international exploration assets.

Andrew holds postgraduate qualifications including a PhD in Geology & Geophysics from the University of
Sydney and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.

Reuben Dwyer | Manager

Reuben joined BurnVoir in 2019.

He has joined the firm to provide technical insight into the risk and value of commercial projects leading to
financial strategy and transaction management to completion.

Reuben holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Deakin University, Geelong (Vic.), and a Graduate
Diploma in Extractive Metallurgy from Monash University, Perth (WA).

Reuben has previously spent 8 years working as a Senior Metallurgist, developing and managing metallurgical
testwork strategies for green and brownfield projects worldwide.

Samer Audeh | Senior Associate

Samer joined BurnVoir in 2007.

Since joining the firm, Samer has provided financial and commercial advice to companies and government
organisations in the resources, energy and infrastructure space across a wide range of services including
advising on over $1 billion in project and corporate financings, debt and equity capital raisings, mergers and
acquisitions, offtaker funding, asset sales and purchases.

Samer provides transaction execution, commercial negotiation, documentation, due diligence and analytical
support including complex financial modelling on advisory mandates.

Samer is also fluent in Arabic and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management Information
Systems from Pennsylvania State University (Highest Distinction Honours) and a Master of Business
Administration with a specialisation in Corporate Financial Analysis and Planning (Highest Distinction

Samer is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society, the highest recognition a student can
receive in a university business program accredited by AACSB International.

Foo Kang Wei | Senior Associate

Foo joined BurnVoir Corporate Finance in 2018.

Foo has more than 8 years of experience as corporate finance adviser, specialising in mergers and acquisitions,
IPO, valuation, takeovers, capital restructuring and other fund raising corporate transactions in Malaysia.

Foo began his career in KPMG Malaysia as an auditor and primarily focusing on financial services, banking, oil
and gas and palm oil refineries. Whilst at KPMG Foo was heavily involved in ensuring statutory reporting was
compliant with US GAAP guidelines. In addition Foo worked on numerous corporate transactions assisting
Bank Islam.

Foo subsequently joined AmInvestment Bank Berhad as a corporate finance adviser, where he provided
financial and commercial advice to companies listed on the Malaysian stock exchange; Bursa. Foo has worked
on over A$12 billion of transaction including mergers, M&A and ECM. In addition Foo was involved in the
A$7 billion IPO of a significant energy producer in Malaysia.

Foo is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified

Vanessa Marafioti | Senior Associate

Vanessa joined BurnVoir Corporate Finance in 2018.

Prior to joining the firm, Vanessa was a senior analyst at Brookfield Property Partners where she provided
financial analysis for several key portfolios. Prior to this Vanessa spent over four years in various roles in
KPMG, including two years in transaction services where she provided advice to public and private clients
across a range of industries.

Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) from the University of Sydney. During her
undergraduate degree, Vanessa received a number of awards including the Academic Merit Prize and Deans
List for Academic Excellence. In addition, Vanessa has also completed all requirements to qualify as a
Chartered Accountant and is a CFA Charterholder.

Carlo Lucci | Senior Associate

Carlo joined BurnVoir Corporate Finance in 2021.

Carlo began his career as a graduate at McGrathNicol where he worked across corporate advisory, restructuring, and M&A transaction services in various industries. During Carlo’s time at McGrathNicol, he was seconded to Borrelli Walsh in Singapore to work on multiple restructuring engagements.

Carlo subsequently joined Remagen Capital, an Australian based investment fund, where he was responsible for structuring and executing mid-market private credit and special situations investment opportunities across multiple industries. Carlo was also involved in the capital raising process for transactions whilst at Remagen Capital.

Prior to joining BurnVoir, Carlo worked at Westpac Institutional Bank where he was responsible for providing transaction structuring, execution, and portfolio management capabilities across a global Industrials portfolio.

Carlo holds a Bachelor of Economics, with majors in Economics and Accounting from the University of Sydney. Carlo is also a full qualified Chartered Accountant and is a member of CA ANZ.

Anthony Xu | Senior Associate

Anthony joined BurnVoir Corporate Finance in 2018.

Since joining the firm, Anthony has worked on a range of engagements, including project financing and general
corporate advisory for listed and unlisted public companies. Anthony provides substantial support for clients in
financial modelling & analysis, commercial negotiation, due diligence and debt and equity execution.

Prior to joining the firm, Anthony spent 8 years in the resource industry. His most recent role was working on
medium to large sized transactions at Todd Minerals, an investment arm in the resource industry for New
Zealand Conglomerate Todd Corporation. Prior to this he spent four years with MMG, an ASX and HKEX dual
listed mid-tier base metal miner, across various functions in the finance department.

Anthony is fluent in Mandarin and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from Monash
University and a Master of Financial Management from ANU. Anthony is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA Charterholder
